Acura Reveals New "Integra" For 2023
The Acura Integra is coming back. An all new CIVIC based "Prototype" has been revealed. The prototype was shown in a new colour called, "Indy Yellow". the colour pays homage to Phoenix Yellow that is offerd on the Integra Type R.
The new Integra gets its power from a 1.5 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, with V-Tech. The engine is matched to a six speed manual transmission. The Civic Si with the same engine produces about 200-horsepower, but the Acura Integra will be a "high output" version and will offer a little more punch. Exact numbers will be revealed later when the production cars are closer to entering show rooms.
The Integra name was discontinued a couple of decades ago but it's coming back as a 2023 model.

The car is basically a Civic but all of the body panels have been changed and it is being offered as a liftback. While the style may seem somewhat retro to some, Acura's design team says their goal was to create a car that shows how the Integra would have evolved had it not been discontinued.

A "performance S" version is expected sometime in the near future.

Those eager to get behind the wheel won't have to wait long. Acura executives say the new Integra will go into production next year at the Acura assembly facility in Maryville Ohio
