KIA SORENTO EARNS PARENTS MAGAZINE AWARD

The Kia Sorento has earned an award from PARENTS MAGAZINE, as best redesigned 3 Row SUV, which adds it to a list of "best family vehicles" as rated by the publication.

PARENTS, is an established and leading source of information for parents, and is especially popular with millenial moms who selected winning vehicles as rated by the magazine based on vehicles' use and intergration of technology, safety, and convenience. In short the vehicles rated, were judged on how well they meet the needs of families.

“We’re honored to see the best-selling Sorento awarded for its safety technology, smooth ride and stylish exterior,” said Sean Yoon, president and CEO of Kia Motors North America. “Our diverse lineup appeals to a wide range of buyers, and we’re excited to see one of our three-row vehicles recognized as a best buy for families.”

The Sorento, which was redesigned as an all-new-for 2021 vehicle, stands boasts enhanced safety and Advanced Driver Assistance Features. It also has more power than the previous model, and Kia claims the vehicle has a more comfortable ride and improved interior comfort.

PARENTS magazine "experts" tested over 50 vehicles. Safety was a prime consideration when judging the vehicles. 24 of the 50 vehicles were given awards. All of the winning vehicles passed test drive standards, were judged on car seat compatibility, as well as overall safety and efficiency.
